against Child Abuse

Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) is honored to announce MoU signing with International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN) and Protection and Help of Children Against Child Abuse and Neglect (PAHCHAAN) with an understanding to jointly work towards ending violence against children of our society and protecting them from abuse and neglect.

The MOU was signed by Zeshan Afzal, Global CEO SAF, Dr. Naeem Zafar Chairman PAHCHAAN, Ms. Jenny Grey, past President ISPCAN, Dr. Mohammad Tufail, Chairman Pakistan Paediatric Association (PPA) and Dr. Bernard Gerbaka, President ISPCAN.

SAF with the support of ISPCAN, PPA and PAHCHAAN would strive to contribute through advocacy in this cause of protecting rights of children of Pakistan at global and national levels.
SAF would also initiate and implement programs of the two partnering organizations in its SAF School initiative which includes teacher training, developing parental awareness and training children on self-protection against abuse and violence.

ISPCAN is a non-profit organization founded in 1977 comprised of over 900 multi-disciplinary professionals working to protect the rights of the child. ISPCAN provides training and resources to practitioners, supports research and development to compile best practices, brings together professionals in the field.
PAHCHAAN is a registered, not for profit organization, working on the rights of children. PAHCHAAN has been actively working to protect children for the past twelve years, via awareness raising, advocacy, creating models and running projects.
