Camps 2nd Divisional Public School - Toba Tek Singh
SAF team visited Divisional Public School to conduct a sports program. The team assessed the area and selected suitable spaces for indoor and outdoor activities. After a rigorous selection process, 45 participants were chosen, including 20 boys and 25 girls, who were provided with kits before the start of the training sessions. The participants showed great enthusiasm and eagerness to learn. Before the skills training sessions began, the coaches emphasized the importance of personal hygiene.
The training sessions focused on cricket skills and life skills, which were observed by the participating teachers and community members. The life skills taught during the sessions were marked by the observers. The cricketing skills were taught by professional coaches Mr. Hanif Malik and Mr. Umer Rashid, while the female participants received similar training by Ms. Saba Khursheed. The cricketing sessions included teaching good hand-eye coordination, improving throwing and catching abilities, and enhancing batting and bowling techniques of the participants.
