Shahid Afridi Foundation UK is raising funds for Wadoodia Muhallah School in Karachi. Our schools caters for the poorest communities, enabling access to education for those children who wouldn’t normally be given the opportunity. This school houses 216 children studying in a coeducation environment.

How can you help?
The various Pakistan Societies we are working with across UK Universities have been invaluable, not only in terms of awareness of our work, but also from a funds generating perspective. The funds generated over the Pakistan Week activities over the last couple of years have been utilised to fund the education of underprivileged students in the most remote areas of Pakistan; 2020 alone saw 80+ students fully funded for their entire academic year (tuition fees, uniforms, books and stationary). For more information on how to get involved drop the SAF Student Network an email: [email protected]
Sponsor a Child
The cost of sponsoring each child at this school is only £150 for the entire academic year (only £12.50/month). This covers all of their studies and tuition fees, uniform, stationary, books and teacher costs.
Sponsor a Child’s lunch
Healthy school meals play a big role in providing the necessary nutrients for youngsters, leading children to choose healthier eating habits. SAF Schools intend to provide free meals to its students who come from low-income households; a critical source of healthy food for the children, enabling them to focus in class and beyond. Sponsoring a child’s school meals costs approximately £125 for the entire academic year (around £10/month).
Sponsor a Book
Keeping our libraries replenished means purchasing new books to help young minds grow and expand their imaginations. Donate a book to our library for only £3.
Please donate whatever you can to make a difference to those in need, and enable them to break the cycle of poverty though an education. Many of our students are the first in their family to receive a formal education, so your contribution will make all of the difference.
