Careem Pakistan and Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) have joined hands to help further the cause of education to underprivileged children in Pakistan, especially girls under the banner. As per the MoU signed between Careem Pakistan and SAF, Careem will facilitate fundraising for SAF through their exclusive Car-Type “Build Pakistan Ride”. Customers will also be able to donate by redeeming their Careem Reward points earned through the app. The signing ceremony was held at the Careem House (Headquarters) where the senior leadership hosted cricketing legend Shahid Khan Afridi, Global Chairman SAF. Zeeshan Hasib Baig, General Manager, Careem Pakistan commented on the occasion: “Careem’s Build Pakistan initiative and Rewards program are a testament to our commitment towards building communities through technology. Our collaboration with SAF is one such example of how technology with committed partners can make a positive change in Pakistan”
During the ceremony, Cricketing Legend, Shahid Afridi shared his dream and commitment towards this philanthropic career and remarked “I strongly believe that our community especially the corporate sector has to come forward and contribute to give back to society, for which I am very grateful to Careem and its management for joining hands with Shahid Afridi Foundation.
