We’re always looking to improve our teaching and communication skills in the SAF education network so we can offer our students uncompromising, quality education. For that, SAF has partnered with Jolly Phonics to provide a teacher training program at SAF schools. The goal is to polish reading and writing skills of pre-nursery, nursery, prep students. Our Jolly Phonics Trainer, Miss Tahira is originally from London, UK, now living in Islamabad, Pakistan. She is an MBA graduate from the UK who chose to educate literacy skills to children instead of taking up a plush corporate career.

Tahira used to be the vice principle in a school where she noticed many of the children were not reading and writing well enough at the school. She did some research on developing literacy skills and first came across Jolly Phonics in 2004. Since then, she has been encouraging literacy development to help students become proficient in the English language. We thank miss Tahira for training our staff to ensure a Hope – Not Out tomorrow for all.
