The Pakistan Cricket Board extended the scope of its Corporate Social Responsibility when they signed a two-year partnership with Shahid Afridi Foundation. The Foundation is diligently working to uplift the lives of underserved communities by providing better healthcare, education and clean drinking water to every member of the society.

The partnership will cover all bilateral series of Pakistan’s cricket, starting with the home series against Sri Lanka where the SAF logo will feature on the National Men, Women and Junior cricket team’s kit. Wasim Khan, Managing Director, Pakistan Cricket Board said: “The PCB is delighted to continue to play their part in the progress, growth, and development of underprivileged citizens of Pakistan, this time through a partnership with the Shahid Afridi Foundation.” He was all praise for the Chairman of the Foundation. He said, “Shahid Afridi has encouraged and attracted a number of people to join him in this campaign. We have to work collectively and proactively to address the real issues in our society and work aggressively to uplift and improve the quality of lives of hundreds of underprivileged people. By raising awareness about SAF’s work and efforts, PCB will play its part in supporting this agenda.”

Baskin Robins joins SAF Education initiative Taleem Hogi Aam Her Beti Kay Naam

Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) and Baskin Robbins Pakistan signed an MoU at SAF School Malikpur Campus, Lahore. The MoU will enable 100 out of school girls to receive free of cost quality education at SAF adopted schools. SAF Schools sponsor full term education of over 4,000 deserving children including all academic expenses.

Both the brands will work together to further raise funds to educate under privileged female students under SAF’s .

The partnership is taking place under Baskin-Robbins Pakistan #BaanteyKhushian platform which aims to spread happiness amongst marginalized communities. As an integral part of company’s global DNA, Baskin-Robbins Pakistan will promote the campaign in all fifteen franchises across Pakistan. “We are committed to spreading happiness and hope through our products and CSR endeavors”, said Haris Mustafa, CEO Baskin-Robbins. Shahid Afridi Foundation is striving to make a difference in the field of health, education, clean water and sports. Shahid Afridi Foundation’s excellent work and Mr. Afridi’s vision has earned global recognition over the years. It is imperative to educate our girls, as one educated woman raises an educated family which leads to an educated prosperous society. Our goal is a thriving nation, and this is what the partnership will hopefully lead to. With over 22 million out-of-school children, out of which 32% are only primary school girls, the collaboration will lead to the enrollment of more girls in schools bringing happiness and hope to those who need it the most.

Shahid Afridi Foundation’s (SAF) Joins hands with College of Accounting & Management Sciences under the Education Mission of Shahid Afridi Foundation and CAMS signed a MoU at the CAMS Head Office Clifton Karachi. The MoU will lead to a greater collaboration between the two organizations for provision of quality education for underprivilege students of SAF Schools. The program entailing facilitation of SAF schools Students for their higher or professional education whereby matric students can study after completing their Matriculation at SAF School in Karachi for full academic years and enroll in courses offered at CAMS. SAF School students at CAMS would be permitted to take courses in the departments that correspond to the disciplines and departments within Accounting/Commerce faculty as per their matriculation degree comply.

(Bring Peace Through Prosperity (BPTP) & SAF are collaborating for a short pilot program entailing facilitation of SAF Schools students, parents and the community of Rehri Goth. BPTP provides training for the SAF School student’s parents and nearby community to groom their entrepreneurship skills and help them grow their businesses. BPTP will launch a “Mini MBA Program” for the parents of schools and nearby community to coach and train to setup/grow their small businesses through improved management skills.

Careem Pakistan and Shahid Afridi Foundation (SAF) have joined hands to help further the cause of education to underprivileged children in Pakistan, especially girls under the banner. As per the MoU signed between Careem Pakistan and SAF, Careem will facilitate fundraising for SAF through their exclusive Car-Type “Build Pakistan Ride”. Customers will also be able to donate by redeeming their Careem Reward points earned through the app. The signing ceremony was held at the Careem House (Headquarters) where the senior leadership hosted cricketing legend Shahid Khan Afridi, Global Chairman SAF. Zeeshan Hasib Baig, General Manager, Careem Pakistan commented on the occasion: “Careem’s Build Pakistan initiative and Rewards program are a testament to our commitment towards building communities  through technology. Our collaboration with SAF is one such example of how technology with committed partners can make a positive change in Pakistan”
