Another milestone achieved under the SAF education initiative; we are so overjoyed to open the first Sajida Khatoon Library at SAF School Arkanabad campus. The library was inaugurated by SAF Australia Country Director Syed Atif Faheem’s team & their donors. The library will cater to over 200 students enrolled at the campus, providing them with the opportunity to read their favorite fictional books, and comics, explore geographic locations, learn about and sketch and read content about Islam. The collection also includes books to help develop Urdu and English reading skills, developing healthy habits, and necessary personality skills.

During their visit to the campus, the team also met the students, shared lunch, and made amazing memories. Together we are preparing a generation of knowledgeable and forward-thinking children who will shape the future of our country.

Shahid Afridi Foundation believes Hope starts with Security, whether it’s Health, Education, or Food value. Pakistan’s food insecurity and hunger rankings underline the gravity of the situation and call for urgent action. SAF has been helping people living under the margins and delivering food assistance in places of emergencies, as well as working with communities to build resilience and improve nutrition.

The UK tour 2021 aimed to break down the barriers for communities struggling to access food security while encouraging members of society to act with impact in mind. Renowned actor, Imran Abbas joined forces to support the cause and promote food security across Pakistan. Fundraisers were planned in London, Manchester, and Bradford.  The goal was to raise funds to facilitate destitute communities, living in remote regions to lead healthier lives through the provision of nutritious foods.
